Alight is a leading European solar developer and independent power producer that helps energy-intensive businesses transition to solar power through subsidy-free power purchase agreements (PPAs). Founded in 2013, the company has established itself as a frontrunner in the Nordic solar market, developing some of Sweden's largest solar parks including the 100 MWp Hultsfred Solar Farm. DIF Capital Partners invested €150 million in 2022 to acquire a majority stake, accelerating Alight's expansion across Europe with the goal of achieving 5 GW of installed solar capacity by 2030.
