Atlas operates as Iceland's first sovereign public cloud provider, offering locally-hosted cloud infrastructure independent of undersea cables and offshore connections. The company's platform provides virtual machines, managed Kubernetes, managed databases, and secure, readable backups of SaaS data. This infrastructure guarantees that sensitive data remains fully under Icelandic jurisdiction and compliant with national regulatory standards. The startup completed the Startup SuperNova 2025 business accelerator program organized by KLAK – Icelandic Startups in partnership with Nova and Huawei. Its infrastructure is further strengthened through strategic partnerships with hosting provider Borealis Data Center and cybersecurity specialist Syndis.
