Audun is a Norwegian AI-native debt collection company rebuilding recovery as an end-to-end automated workflow rather than a call-centre operation. Its platform runs the full cycle — pre-collection reminders on the channels each debtor actually uses, AI-led negotiation of realistic payment plans, scheduling and payouts, and a full audit trail for creditors — while automatically escalating to human case handlers when a case involves a dispute, a vulnerable customer, or anything that doesn't fit a script. The positioning is deliberately two-sided: recovery rates for creditors without the reputational cost of aggressive collection, and a calmer, self-serve, multilingual experience for debtors. Audun Collection AS was founded in June 2026 by four Norwegian founders — Jacob Hambro (CEO), Henrik Brun Fevang, Peter Flo, and Magnus Njølstad Vonen — and was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, building out of Silicon Valley while anchored in the Nordic market. The company is also publishing technical work on the link between servicing policy and credit model performance, signalling an ambition that extends from collections into underwriting.
