Aumio is a meditation and sleep app for kids that offers child-friendly entertainment in the form of meditations, audio games, yoga exercises, and bedtime stories. The app was developed together with experts at Freie Universität Berlin and has been scientifically proven to help children sleep 37 minutes faster on average while improving concentration and reducing stress. Since launching in March 2021, over 200,000 families in the DACH region have signed up, and the company has partnered with leading German health insurance companies including Allianz, TK, and KKH. The startup raised €3 million in seed funding in 2022 led by Partech and byFounders to expand across Europe and the US.
