Azure Cell Therapies is a University of Geneva spin-off developing next-generation regenerative cell therapies for Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. The company uses lab-grown neurons derived from healthy donor stem cells, engineered for safety, scalability, and long-lasting functional integration into the brain. Built on two decades of research and proprietary cell- and genetic-engineering platforms, the technology enables controlled production of therapeutic neurons with minimal tumor risk. The company has secured over CHF 1 million in funding including a CHF 650,000 Innosuisse grant and CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick.
