CardiaTec is a Cambridge-based TechBio company using artificial intelligence and multi-omics human cardiac tissue data to discover novel cardiovascular therapeutics. The startup has built a clinical network spanning more than 65 hospitals in the United Kingdom and United States to construct a comprehensive database of human cardiac biology. In August 2025, the company secured a research partnership with Germany-based innoVitro, supported by an Innovate UK grant, to develop treatments for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Their computational platform aims to bypass traditional model limitations to identify next-generation drug targets for complex heart diseases.
