Copenhagen Atomics is developing containerized thorium molten salt reactors that fit inside 40-foot shipping containers and can be mass-manufactured on assembly lines. Their revolutionary 'Onion Core' design aims to deliver 100 MW thermal energy per unit at an electricity price below $20/MWh, making nuclear energy cheaper than coal. The company has built two full-scale non-fission prototype reactors and secured partnerships with major companies for green ammonia production.
