Dandelion Diagnostics is a Copenhagen-based medtech startup founded in 2024, developing AI-augmented biosensing solutions for point-of-care diagnostics. The company uses nanoscale photonic sensors combined with artificial intelligence to create unique molecular disease fingerprints in biofluids, enabling rapid and affordable diagnosis of a wide range of diseases. It was created within the BioInnovation Institute's Bio Studio program, a spin-out accelerator for transformative life sciences research, with scientific foundations from Professor Dame Molly Stevens of the University of Oxford. The company has not yet raised external funding and remains in early company-creation stage, with Per Barfod Andersen (formerly of AstraZeneca) serving as Entrepreneur in Residence.
