Delta.g is a UK deep-tech startup spun out from the University of Birmingham that develops portable, field-ready quantum gravity sensors. By utilizing quantum gravity gradiometers driven by cold-atom interferometry, the company delivers real-time spatial intelligence to map subsurface features such as buried infrastructure, utilities, tunnels, and voids. Its technology also provides resilient, GPS-independent navigation capabilities. The company secured a GBP 2.5 million commercial contract with the UK Department for Transport to demonstrate underground mapping technology.
