Destinus is an aerospace and defense technology company that designs and manufactures autonomous flight systems, uncrewed aerial vehicles, and advanced turbine engines. Originally focused on hydrogen-powered hypersonic passenger aircraft, the company has pivoted to military and defense applications following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It now produces scalable strike and air-defense systems, including long-range tactical drones and cruise missiles, at an industrial scale for European and allied forces. Destinus operates a key joint venture called Rheinmetall Destinus Strike Systems with defense giant Rheinmetall, and recently acquired Swiss AI aviation software firm Daedalean.
