Digit Soil is a Swiss AgTech startup and ETH Zurich spin-off developing a portable handheld device called the Soil Enzymatic Activity Reader (SEAR or BOB) that measures 5 key soil enzymes in 40 minutes to assess soil biological activity and optimize fertilizer use. It combines enzymatic data with deep-learning models and satellite observations to provide farmers actionable insights for reducing waste, costs, and environmental impact.
