Dokapi is an API-first fintech platform and certified Peppol Access Point providing smart document processing, OCR document recognition, and automated e-invoicing compliance solutions. Originally developed for five years as a business unit within Belgian IT company Ixor under the name IxorDocs, it was spun off as an independent startup in early 2025. The platform helps businesses, ERP systems, and accountants process and exchange structured financial documents like invoices, purchase orders, tax returns, and payslips across over 30 European countries. The company is deliberately bootstrapped and growing without external capital under the leadership of founder and CEO Roel Verbeeck.
