Draupnir Bio is a Danish biotech company pioneering extracellular protein degradation using lysosome receptors to tackle disease-causing proteins that have been traditionally difficult to drug. Their proprietary SORTAC technology targets the 40% of the human proteome consisting of extracellular and membrane-bound proteins, expanding beyond current targeted protein degradation approaches. The company recently secured €12M in seed funding from MP Healthcare and EIFO, bringing total raised to €42M since founding in 2017 as a spin-out from Aarhus University and Max-Planck Society. They are developing a diversified preclinical pipeline of oral small molecule degraders with applications across multiple therapeutic areas.
