Eforto is a Belgian MedTech spinoff of UniWeb BV that has developed a clinically validated, FDA-listed system for monitoring muscle health, vitality capacity, and pre-frailty through a standardized 5-minute effort test using a wireless grip-strength bulb and smartphone app. Built on over 25 years of research from the Frailty in Ageing Research Group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the platform delivers objective, reproducible biomarkers suitable for both clinical workflows and pharmaceutical trial endpoints. The company operates in both the EU (Meise, Belgium) and the US (New York), with partnerships spanning Johns Hopkins University, Radboud UMC, Danone, and the WHO. Eforto is currently raising capital via a convertible loan to accelerate commercial deployment and expand its pharma partnership pipeline, targeting the fast-growing GLP-1 and anti-sarcopenia drug development market as a scalable endpoint solution.
