EsaDres is a research-based healthtech startup and spin-off from the University of Tartu that develops personalized wound care products. The company designs custom-made, biocompatible wound dressings loaded with antimicrobial peptides to treat chronic wounds and prevent infections. Utilizing automated electrospinning technology, these custom dressings are produced directly at the point of care, such as hospital pharmacies or bedsides. The startup secured the Enterprise Estonia's Students Development Grant in Engineering running from June 2023 through May 2025. Additionally, the team won the TRINITI Legal Support Package of up to six thousand euros at the sTARTUp Day event.
