Finanz is a Milan-based EdTech/Fintech app often described as the 'Duolingo of money', offering free, personalized financial education through short daily lessons, quizzes, real-time news, and expert video courses. Founded in 2022 by four founders all under 23, the startup began by organizing over 100 financial literacy assemblies in Italian schools before launching its mobile app. In October 2025, Finanz closed a €700k pre-seed round backed by business angels and senior executives from Amazon, Amundi, Rothschild & Co, and Fundsgate. The company is now scaling its user base across Europe, building a B2B Finanz API for banks and fintechs, and expanding its team in technology, product, and design.
