FREYR Battery is developing environmentally friendly lithium-ion battery cell production facilities in Mo i Rana, Norway, using 100% renewable energy and advanced SemiSolid manufacturing technology licensed from 24M Technologies. The company went public on NYSE in July 2021 through a SPAC merger valued at $1.4 billion and raised $850 million in proceeds.
