Gen2 Energy is a Norwegian startup developing large-scale green hydrogen production and distribution infrastructure based on 100% renewable energy. Founded in 2019, the company focuses on creating an integrated value chain for green hydrogen to serve European industrial and maritime customers. They raised approximately NOK 150 million in March 2022 from UK-based hydrogen specialist funds HyCap and HydrogenOne Capital, reaching a valuation of NOK 300 million.
