Gradium

Seed · AI & Machine Learning · Paris, France · Founded 2025 · 11–50 employees

Gradium develops foundational, audio-native language models and real-time voice AI infrastructure. Spun out of the French non-profit AI research lab Kyutai, the startup provides developer APIs for ultra-low latency streaming text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and voice cloning. Upon coming out of stealth, the company secured a substantial $70 million seed funding round to accelerate its technology. The venture is backed by major institutional investors including FirstMark Capital, Eurazeo, and DST Global Partners, alongside prominent industry figures like former Google CEO Eric Schmidt and Yann LeCun.
