Graphmatech is a Sweden-based deep-tech company that develops graphene-based nanocomposite materials with their patented Aros Graphene technology that solves the long-standing agglomeration issue preventing industrial graphene applications. The company focuses on hydrogen storage solutions, reducing hydrogen leakage by up to 83% in pressure vessels and pipelines, which addresses both environmental and financial concerns in the growing hydrogen economy. They recently secured a €2.5 million EU grant to build a pilot facility that will scale production from 5 to 200 tonnes annually, with plans to deploy their technology in 1,500 commercial vehicles by 2027. Graphmatech was named a 2025 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and has raised $16.3 million in funding from investors including EIT InnoEnergy and Walerud Ventures.
