H2Electro produces next-generation solid oxide electrolysis cells and stacks for green hydrogen production and steam/CO2 co-electrolysis. The startup utilizes all-ceramic fuel electrodes instead of conventional nickel cermets, which eliminates the need for expensive precious metals or protective gas atmospheres. To support its technology development, the company secured a 1.76 million EUR state grant from Enterprise Estonia and KredEx in October 2025. H2Electro has also accumulated nearly 2 million EUR in private investments alongside 2.2 million EUR in total grants and subsidies to scale its operations.
