HeartBeat.bio AG is an Austrian biotech company developing a high-throughput 3D screening platform based on self-organizing human heart organoids called Cardioids. The platform mimics the physiology and architecture of a human heart chamber to enable scalable, human-centric drug discovery for heart failure and cardiomyopathies. This technology integrates stem-cell-derived 3D cardiac biology, automated hardware, and artificial intelligence to improve clinical success rates. The company closed a seed funding round of 4.5 million euros in November 2023 to advance its commercial scaling.
