Heliosync develops an autonomous, modular, and scalable sun-tracking and solar mirror alignment system for concentrated solar power and solar thermal applications. The startup uses a patent-pending optical sun-tracking method that samples the on-target radiant footprint of each heliostat, allowing mirrors to self-optimize dynamically. This technology is designed to improve mirror accuracy by approximately 30% and reduce mirror calibration labor by up to 99%. Demonstrating early traction, the company was selected as a winner in the first round of the US Department of Energy's Heliostat Prize and won selection for European RISEnergy funding in 2025.
