InPlanet is a German-Brazilian climate tech startup focused on high-integrity carbon dioxide removal via Enhanced Rock Weathering. By distributing natural basalt rock powder onto tropical farmland, the company accelerates geochemical weathering to permanently capture atmospheric carbon for thousands of years. The process also remineralizes depleted soils, improving crop yields and reducing the reliance on synthetic fertilizers. InPlanet has demonstrated strong commercial traction by securing carbon credit pre-purchase agreements with Microsoft for 28,900 tonnes of carbon dioxide removal, alongside agreements with Frontier, Shopify, and AXA Switzerland.
