Kodatek develops on-site robotic machinery and utilizes eco-friendly materials to decarbonize the construction and insulation process. The startup produces an onsite-poured, ultralight foamed geopolymer from industrial by-products and calcined clay, reducing cement-related carbon emissions by up to 80%. Its automated on-site robotic system allows a single operator to manage casting tasks that typically require nine builders, addressing labor shortages. The company secured a 10,000 EUR award in March 2023 through its participation in the Tehnopol AI Accelerator program. It has also received support from the AI Robotics Estonia demonstration project to integrate machine learning controls into its equipment.
