Lace Lithography is a deep-tech spinout from the University of Bergen developing Beyond-EUV atom lithography systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Rather than relying on traditional extreme ultraviolet photolithography, the company uses beams of metastable helium matter waves to etch silicon wafers with sub-nanometer precision. This technique bypasses optical diffraction limits to extend Moore's Law for next-generation microchips. In March 2026, the company raised a 34.5 million euro Series A funding round led by Atomico.
