Lapso Studios is a Barcelona-based boutique fitness operator known for 45-minute immersive indoor-cycling, barre and functional classes that combine lights, music and coaching to create a community-focused “sport & cardio party” experience. Founded in 2021, the studio emphasizes wellbeing, community and high-energy classes across multiple studios in Barcelona. It closed a €1.5M seed round led by Thomas Meyer’s family office La Vida es Chula in October 2023 to accelerate expansion. By early 2026 Lapso had grown to three studios and around fifty staff and was acquired by Mexican operator Commando Studios in March 2026, with the founders remaining involved.
