MedSeg is a free online medical image segmentation tool that uses AI models to help radiologists segment CT and MRI images directly in their web browser. The tool was developed by two radiologists in Oslo who wanted to bring more AI enhancement to daily clinical practice. The platform runs completely in the browser with no need for registration or uploads, ensuring patient data privacy while providing access to over 20 AI models for automated and interactive segmentation. MedSeg has been funded by Aleap health incubator and provides both free tools for research and paid segmentation services, with the goal of accelerating development of clinically validated models through their open-access segmentation database.
