Meiogenix

Series B · Agritech & Foodtech · Paris, France · Founded 2010 · 11–50 employees

Meiogenix is an agricultural biotechnology company that develops proprietary chromosome-editing and targeted-recombination technologies to accelerate plant breeding. Originating as a spin-off of the Institut Curie and INRAE, the company's platform safely guides the natural exchange of genetic regions during plant reproduction to unlock hidden genetic diversity. This technology allows breeders to rapidly introduce critical traits such as disease resistance and drought tolerance. In October 2025, the company secured a 15 million Euro Series B funding round to further scale its technology. Meiogenix also secured a 2 million Dollar research collaboration grant in August 2025 with the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research and the Boyce Thompson Institute to develop climate-resilient tomatoes.
