Mifundo has built a pan-European, AI-enabled cross-border data platform that serves as a passporting layer for consumer credit histories. By aggregating and standardizing fragmented credit bureau and open-banking data, the company's single API allows banks to significantly reduce credit risk for foreign customers. The technology enables mobile European citizens to access credit products seamlessly without starting their financial history from scratch. In September 2024, the company secured a total capital package of 10 million euros, which includes a blend of pre-seed funding, a grant, and equity matched by the European Innovation Council.
