Nasekomo is pioneering the next generation of sustainable protein production through Black Soldier Fly bioconversion technology, transforming organic waste into high-quality insect protein, oil, and fertilizer for animal feed and agriculture. The Bulgarian biotech scale-up has secured €8M in Series A funding and developed AI-driven robotized insect rearing technology with strategic partnerships including Siemens. As the largest manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe and the only insect rearing factory in Southeast Europe, Nasekomo is expanding through a franchise model with plans to establish 100 plants across 10 years.
