Nautica Technologies develops HYDRA, an autonomous robotic antifouling system designed for the maritime sector. Governed by their proprietary AI called OceanMind, these GPS-independent underwater robots proactively groom and clean ship hulls. By maintaining hull smoothness before marine biofouling can establish itself, the system reduces vessel fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 20 percent. The company raised a 3.4 million euro seed round in July 2025 to scale its operations.
