Neurosoft Bioelectronics has developed breakthrough soft, stretchable brain interfaces that are 1,000 times softer than traditional electrodes for treating severe neurological disorders like epilepsy and tinnitus. The company recently conducted world-record-setting human trials with a 64-channel stretchable brain interface at UMC Utrecht, demonstrating superior precision in identifying epileptic tissue. Based at Campus Biotech Geneva, the startup has raised nearly $3 million from the European Innovation Council and other prestigious funders. Their SOFT ECoG technology enables minimally invasive brain monitoring for up to 30 days while conforming seamlessly to brain tissue, opening new possibilities for brain-computer interfaces and neuroprosthetics.
