Neutreeno is a climate-tech spinout from the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge that has developed a proprietary emissions-to-performance platform. The system uses mass and energy flow engineering models to map product-level supply chains and systematically eliminate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions at the source. Unlike traditional carbon accounting tools focused on retrospective reporting, Neutreeno identifies specific inefficiencies and costs while requiring 90% less supplier data than traditional Life Cycle Assessments. In October 2024, the company secured a 5 million USD seed funding round led by Regeneration.VC to scale its technology. Neutreeno has also been selected to join L'Oréal’s sustainability-focused L'AcceleratOR program in January 2026.
