Novatron Fusion Group is developing the world's first stable mirror-machine fusion reactor design, invented by Jan Jäderberg, aimed at revolutionizing energy production through their NOVATRON concept. The company has raised €8 million across multiple funding rounds including €5 million in seed funding led by Climentum Capital in August 2023 and €3 million from the EIC Pathfinder Program in December 2024. The company operates as the only fusion venture in the Nordics and is building the EU's first private, fully integrated fusion plasma system at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Their unique magnetic mirror design with triple-force plugging technology promises to overcome plasma instability issues that have hindered commercial fusion energy development.
