NovoViz is an EPFL spin-off developing next-generation single-photon computational engines using SPAD technology that dramatically reduce data complexity and system costs for high-speed, high-sensitivity imaging applications. Their innovative approach integrates computation directly on-chip with SPAD pixels, cutting costs and reducing complexity for applications in machine vision, smart cameras, and drone imaging. The company has raised over 650,000 CHF including grants from Venture Kick (150,000 CHF), EPFL Startup Launchpad (100,000 CHF), and FIT funding (100,000 CHF). They've already secured paying customers and are preparing for their seed funding round, targeting a significant share of the emerging SPAD camera market expected to reach $500M by 2028.
