Oivi develops AI-powered retinal cameras that enable automated diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and other eye diseases at the primary care level. The company was founded by camera technology experts including CEO Anders Eikenes (co-founder of Huddly which achieved a $400M IPO) and has screened over 105,000 patients. Their compact table-top camera can complete non-invasive eye screenings in under 3 minutes with remote ophthalmologist analysis available within 10 minutes through their cloud platform. The company recently received €2.5 million from the EU's EIC Accelerator program and is expanding into the US market, starting with Florida.
