ONNA operates Norway's largest vertical farm, producing fresh salads and herbs year-round in a fully controlled indoor environment using hydroponic technology. The company raised NOK 50M ($5.4M) to build their 4,000 square meter facility in Moss, which aims to produce 350 tons of lettuce and herbs annually. Founded by Harvard MBA graduate Kristina Løfman in 2020, ONNA focuses on reducing environmental impact while increasing Nordic food independence. The company has already begun commercial operations and launched products with Norwegian grocery retailers like BAMA Storkjøkken Oslo.
