Orbis Medicines is pioneering oral macrocycle drug discovery using its AI-powered nGen platform to create 'nCycles' that offer oral alternatives to injectable biologics. The company has developed breakthrough technology to systematically explore macrocycle chemical space using automated chemistry and machine learning, addressing a historic challenge in drug development. Recently raised €90 million in Series A funding led by NEA with participation from Eli Lilly and others, bringing total funding to €116 million. Founded by research from EPFL and backed by Novo Holdings, the company has published proof-of-concept in Nature Communications and Nature Chemical Biology.
