PanTera is a Mol-based Belgian life sciences company established in 2022 as a joint venture between Ion Beam Applications (IBA) and the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK CEN) to build large-scale, reliable production of actinium-225 (Ac-225), a scarce alpha-emitting radioisotope critical for emerging targeted alpha therapies in cancer; in 2024 it completed a €93 M oversubscribed Series A led by EQT Life Sciences (bringing total funding to ~€134 M), is constructing a state-of-the-art Ac-225 production facility to help overcome global supply shortages, and has already begun early supply deliveries and strategic supply agreements to support global radiopharmaceutical development.
