Parqio

Seed · Real Estate Tech · Oslo, Norway · Founded 2019 · 10–15 employees

Parqio is a Norwegian smart garage management platform that transforms private shared parking garages into digital mobility and service hubs, replacing physical remote controls with a smartphone app and cloud-based access control. Founded in 2019 and launched commercially in January 2021, the company rapidly acquired over 60 locations and 5,000 users within its first year, and now processes over 10,000 daily gate openings across Norway. Its largest customers include OBOS, Norway's biggest housing developer, and car-sharing company Otto Mobility, giving it strong footholds in the residential real estate sector. In January 2022, OBOS (via OBOS Oppstart) and AF Gruppen (via Construct Venture) invested in the company, bringing both capital and direct access to large-scale housing and construction projects. Parqio addresses a critical urban mobility gap — up to 50% of private shared parking spaces sit unused — by enabling owners to generate revenue from idle space while facilitating integrations like car sharing and e-bike charging.
