Pelikan Mobility is a Paris-based deeptech startup building a new type of EV leasing platform for commercial fleets, combining digital twin technology and optimization algorithms to reduce the total cost of electrification. Its dual offering — Pelikan Lease (long-term EV leasing up to 10 years/300,000 km) and FleetPilot (AI-driven fleet optimization software) — bridges the gap between EV leasing and fleet operations, targeting logistics, energy, and utilities sectors. Founded in late 2022 by David Salfati (Engie, Macquarie) and Vincent Schachter (CEA, TotalEnergies, eMotorWerks), the company has already deployed FleetPilot across more than 50,000 vehicles. In March 2024, Pelikan raised a €4 million seed round from Pale Blue Dot, Frst, and Seedcamp, with additional backing from Bpifrance, Techstars, and Moove Lab accelerator.
