PROXUS is a Spanish EdTech startup founded in 2024 by five engineering students from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, building an AI-powered study platform for university students. Its proprietary 'MagIA' technology auto-generates personalised multiple-choice tests from uploaded notes, slides, or past exams, and also provides an AI chat tutor available around the clock. The platform combines gamification, a collaborative content-sharing community, and subscription-based monetisation to replace passive study habits with an active, social learning experience. Already used by over 150,000 students across Spain, the team has toured university campuses nationwide and is actively expanding its product with features such as AI-generated study podcasts.
