PulPac

Series C · Circular Economy · Gothenburg, Sweden · Founded 2018 · 70–90 employees

PulPac has developed Dry Molded Fiber technology, a groundbreaking manufacturing process that converts cellulose fibers into sustainable packaging alternatives to single-use plastics. The company operates a licensing-based business model, enabling global partners to set up their own production facilities. In July 2025, PulPac secured €20 million from the European Investment Bank to scale its technology, following a €31 million funding round in 2022 led by Aliaxis with participation from Amcor Ventures and Stora Enso. The technology produces rigid packaging products including coffee cup lids, bottles, pharmaceutical packaging, and fashion hangers with significantly faster production and lower environmental impact compared to traditional wet molding methods.
