Qilimanjaro is a Barcelona-based quantum computing startup developing analog quantum computers and multimodal data centers to accelerate quantum advantage for real-world problems. The company builds superconducting qubit-based quantum computers that can be accessed via cloud through their QaaS platform, targeting optimization, simulation and AI applications across logistics, finance, energy, and pharmaceutical industries. Founded as a spin-off from prestigious institutions including Barcelona Supercomputing Center, University of Barcelona, and Institute of High-Energy Physics, the company has achieved significant milestones including winning the 4YFN Best Digital Startup Award in 2024, delivering Spain's first quantum computer to BSC, and recently opening Europe's first multimodal quantum data center. They have raised approximately $12.6M in funding and secured major contracts including the three-year Quantum Spain project to build a 30-qubit quantum computer.
