Raw Edge is an Estonian science-based food technology startup and TalTech spin-off that develops and produces 100% natural, probiotic, and low-calorie fermented soft drinks. The company utilizes optimized fermentation technology and clinically tested lactic acid bacteria strains to upcycle local surplus vegetables and berries like carrots into functional gut-friendly beverages. Demonstrating strong early traction, the startup won second place in the prestigious Ajujaht 2023 accelerator competition, securing a fifteen thousand euro prize. Additionally, the venture was awarded a seventy-four thousand eight hundred euro research grant from the Estonian State Shared Service Center in September 2025.
