ReFaMo provides a patented real-time fatigue monitoring and lifecycle data assessment technology for welded steel and aluminum structures subjected to dynamic loads. Spun out of decades of scientific research at LUT University, the system utilizes physical load history measurements, a proprietary algorithm, AI, and digital twin technology. It translates measured loads into actionable structural health data in real-time, helping heavy industry operators identify crack initiation and prevent structural failures. The company secured a position in the Business Finland Deep Tech Accelerator program with a package consisting of a four hundred thousand euro grant and a one million euro loan.
