Renno is an Amsterdam-based fintech building the payment infrastructure and trust layer for Europe's renovation economy. Funds are held on a DNB and FCA regulated payments rail and released the moment each milestone is verified, so tradespeople get paid instantly and homeowners get protection built in from day one. Founded by Mark Slaughter (CEO) and Mourad Chennaoui (CPTO) after their own families lived through renovations that went wrong, Renno has raised €1.6 million from Altitude, SeedX Ventures, Angel Invest Ventures, TipTop VC, Tenity, Helloworld, and fintech angels. The company is live in the Netherlands and the UK, targeting the €280 billion drained from the sector each year through delayed payments.
