RheumaFinder is a Ghent-based medical imaging AI startup developing a cloud-based, PACS-agnostic platform that uses AI to detect structural bone lesions — such as erosion and ankylosis — in the sacroiliac joint region from standard CT images, serving as an add-on tool for radiologists and rheumatologists. The company addresses a major clinical gap: rheumatic diseases affect over 5% of the global population yet suffer from up to 50% underdiagnosis and diagnostic delays of up to 10 years.
