Sonair is a deep-tech company that develops 3D ultrasonic sensing technology to enable safer, more reliable human-robot collaboration. Spun out of the Norwegian research institute SINTEF, the company's flagship product is ADAR One. This acoustic detection and ranging technology utilizes sound waves in the air to give autonomous mobile robots and industrial machinery a real-time, 180°x180° 3D view of their surroundings. The dolphin-inspired approach provides robust spatial awareness under challenging conditions like dust, darkness, or reflective glass where traditional optical sensors struggle.
